Trinidad and Tobago Celebrated as a World Leader in  Leatherback Turtle Protection 
PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad, Nov. 2022 –A big honor for the sister islands,  Tourism Trinidad announced  Trinidad and Tobago were named one of the ‘Best of the World’ destinations for 2023 by National Geographic.  Included in the prestigious “Family” category as ‘one of the most important leatherback turtle nesting sites in the world’, Trinidad and Tobago lead global efforts to protect the leatherback turtle population.  https://visittrinidad.tt/
