JAMAICA TOURIST BOARD APPOINTS CAMILE GLENISTER

AS DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF TOURISM WITH RESPONSIBILITY FOR MARKETING

KINGSTON, JAMAICA – March 19, 2019 – Donovan White, Jamaica’s Director of Tourism has announced the appointment of Camile Glenister as the new Deputy Director of Tourism, Marketing at the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB).

“We are pleased to welcome Camile to the Jamaica Tourist Board team,” said Director White. “Given our strong digital push, we believe her appointment is timely and will help us utilize the various technologies with greater effectiveness to meet our desired marketing goals. As an experienced digital marketer, Camile’s expertise will be key as we strive to be more aggressive in the branding of our destination in a highly globalized and technology-driven world.” 

Prior to that, she served as Scotiabank’s Regional Senior Manager, with responsibility for the marketing of Credit & Debit Cards and Everyday Banking. During that period, she maximized partner relationships and led the communication strategy to deliver strong results, optimizing media budgets and exposure.
