Hyatt Regency Aruba incorporated the updated guidelines from Hyatt’s Global Care & Cleanliness Commitment that focuses on safety first and wellbeing always. The resort implemented these measures as providing clean environments to guests and colleagues is a top priority. Hyatt Regency Aruba created a Hygiene Team that meets on a daily basis to discuss all guidelines and practices being put into place. Each member of the team is assigned to a specific area of the resort and meets with all departments at the resort to provide training. The property now has hand sanitizer stations throughout the resort, enhanced food measures and hygiene protocols, has removed select high-touch items from guestrooms, conducts frequent cleaning of public spaces and guestrooms, performs wellness and temperature checks, added social distancing signage, now offers knock-and-go room service, and requires the usage of masks by staff, among others. In addition, Hyatt Regency Aruba provides care packages in guestrooms with face masks and a bottle of hand sanitizer.
