GRENADA TOURISM AUTHORITY ANNOUNCES THE RESUMPTION OF AIR CANADA NONSTOP SERVICE FROM TORONTO
Air Canada’s Nonstop Flights from Toronto to Grenada Resume in October
St. George’s, Grenada W.I. –JULY 2022 – The Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) announced the resumption of Air Canada’s nonstop service from Toronto to The Spice Island. Taking off on Oct. 30, service will be twice weekly on Sundays and Thursdays, connecting Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) to Maurice Bishop International Airport (GND). “We are extremely happy that Air Canada has recognized the demand for travel to our destination and will resume nonstop service as temperatures up north start to get frigid,” said Sekou Stroude, director of sales, Canada.

“Canadian arrival numbers have remained strong in spite of the absence of the direct service, so we know that the demand is there. Canadians love the authentic experience they can find in Grenada, whether they are traveling for a family reunion, soft adventure or to tantalize their taste buds with our destination’s world-class cuisine, we know the direct connection will lead to an increase in the number of Canadians visiting the destination.” www.aircanada.com “The news on the service to Grenada is positive as the destination is pacing ahead of 2019 numbers and group business is up 37%,” stated Diana Rodriguez, Director – Product Development, Air Canada Vacations.
