CAMBRIDGE BEACHES IN BERMUDA UNVEILS A NEW AND REIMAGINED DESIGN

Bermuda’s Storied Cambridge Beaches Hotel Debuts a Fresh New Look

Hamilton, Bermuda: Sept. 2022:  First opened in 1923,  Cambridge Beaches, is a  Bermudian cottage-style resort that has been reimagined and refreshed courtesy of  Phil Hospod and Dovetail + Co, and interior design by Soho House alum, Kellyann Hee.  The expansive property offers 86 guest rooms, 4 private beaches, 2 private coves, an infinity-edged swimming pool, a full-service spa, recreational sports areas, and an onsite watersport rental pavilion.  Set on a 23-acre peninsula surrounded by ocean and bay waters, the hotel is the first of its kind on the island made up of unique, freestanding cottages positioned along the coast for maximum privacy and unparalleled ocean access. Working with existing architectural details dating back to the 17th century, the restyled cottages provide fresh yet timeless spaces that offer a sense of tropical whimsy where floral prints and vibrant paint colors are met with curated collections of bespoke furniture and contemporary modern art by Bermudian artists. www.cambridgebeaches.com.  This opening also debuts new dining experiences by long-time Chef Keith DeShields, each accessible by land and sea including Breezes, an alfresco restaurant serving elevated island cuisine; Pastel, a casual poolside restaurant; and Sunken Harbor Club, an immersive cocktail bar by the award-winning mixologist and restaurateur, St. John Frizell of Sunken Harbor Club in Brooklyn.
