AMResorts, an Apple Leisure Group company, officially reopened Dreams® Dominicus La Romana and Dreams® Punta Cana during ceremonies headed by the Minister of Tourism of the Dominican Republic David Collado, along with company executives. The company will reopen four additional properties in the country this month. “We are eager to continue to reenergize travel to the Dominican Republic and safely welcome guests back to their favorite beachside destinations this month, beginning with the latest reopenings of Dreams Dominicus La Romana and Dreams Punta Cana,” said Gonzalo del Peón, President of AMResorts. “Within a few more weeks, AMResorts will have eight luxury resorts back online in the country, with more on the way, all ready to offer the highest level of service and quality, plus best-in-class safety and hygiene protocols to support traveler confidence this winter season.” Dreams Dominicus La Romana features 488 luxury rooms and suites overlooking the Caribbean Sea or beautiful gardens, four spectacular swimming pools, ten restaurant options offering local and international à la carte dining, as well as eight bars with top-shelf spirits, and entertainment for adults and children that offer fun for the whole family during their stay.
AMResorts plans several more resort re-openings later this month, as well as in November and December, to reopen all properties in the Dominican Republic by the end of the year. Zoëtry® Agua Punta Cana will reopen its doors on October 13, Dreams® Palm Beach Punta Cana on October 14, Sunscape® Puerto Plata on October 16, and Secrets® Royal Beach Punta Cana on October 31. Dreams® Macao Beach Punta Cana, the newest AMResort resort in the country, officially opened its doors in July. Adults-only Secrets® Cap Cana Resort & Spa reopened in July as well. All AMResorts branded properties have implemented a new 360-degree quality, safety, and hygiene program CleanComplete Verification™, centered on guest safety and peace of mind during vacation.
