Launching this week, Caribbean Travel Update – caribbeantravelupdate.com – is a new online resource created for post-Irma and Jose updates. From easy-to-navigate sections like “Open for Business” and “On the Path to Recovery”, the website also includes relief efforts, easy-to-read map of the region and an online form to submit new information, via one easy click. The website designed for travellers, travel advisors, trade and consumers will be updated regularly by the CTO and CHTA. As Karolin Troubetzkoy, president, Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA), so rightly noted, “tourism is the quickest way to rebound an economy, by working together, we will build a better and more resilient Caribbean.”
