SAN PEDRO, BELIZE – August 15, 2018 – Mahogany Bay Resort & Beach Club, the newest 360ÌŠ lifestyle resort on Ambergris Caye, is launching a series of bespoke Yoga Retreat Packages, designed for groups of yogi experts and novices alike. Hosted at the resort’s onsite Science + Soul Wellness, one of the largest holistic centers in Belize, retreat groups will experience personalized sessions with qualified instructors, as well as refreshing added perks and luxurious accommodations.
The new island chic Mahogany Bay Resort & Beach Club is designed for those seeking relaxed adventure. Nestled in a grove of tropical foliage, the resort offers 205 charming cottage and villa-style accommodations that reflect the destination’s authentic spirit. Retreat members will have full access to a wide array of amenities including the Bay Club with a grand pool and bar and the private white sand Beach Club, just a short boat ride from the on-site marina. The Mahogany Bay Townlet also provides a selection of dining and drinking options, as well as shops, a marina and a concierge that can book excursions off-property.
Opened in December 2017 alongside the resort, Science + Soul Wellness is a world class retreat center for yoga enthusiasts of all levels, styles and traditions. With over 30 years’ experience, Director Paulette Gloria Harwood integrates several models of healing methods for her students and clients, and stands as a positive mentor during classes and retreats. Located in the Townlet at Mahogany Bay Resort & Beach Club, the center features a variety of yoga and meditation classes, a full menu of stimulating body treatments and massages, and one-on-one coaching opportunities.
Organizers of the retreat are able to request their preferred dates and choose from three different lengths of stay – four (4) nights, seven (7) nights, or 10 nights. Deluxe accommodations for all participants are included in the packages on both a single and double occupancy basis, as well as daily breakfast, lunch and dinner at the signature Verandah Restaurant. Participants will also enjoy:
– Four (4) hours of yoga studio time daily
– Early morning yoga meditation studio time
– 20% discount on any 30 minute massage or body treatment for all participants; retreat hosts receive complimentary 60 minute massage or body treatment
– 20% discount on SUP Yoga at the Beach Club for all participants
– 20% discount on any daily golf cart rentals
– Round-trip airport or water taxi terminal transfers on Ambergris Caye for arrival and departure
Prices and specifics for packages are available upon request. Additional studio time can be booked at $50.00 per hour for the studio; hosts are not charged studio fees. Groups of 15 or more paid rooms per night will receive a Host room complimentary.
Please note: Mahogany Bay Resort & Beach Club will be closed for the season from September 29 – October 20, 2018. In that time, no yoga retreats will be available to book.
