Grenada’s entry protocols are now simplified with the introduction of a user-friendly digital platform, designed to efficiently process all arriving travelers to the three-island nation in time for the upcoming winter holiday season. Effective December 1, visitors can now seamlessly apply for a Pure Safe Travel Certificate by entering all relevant pre-arrival documents digitally, further expediting the process on arrival at the Maurice Bishop International Airport and making it easier to jump-start a highly anticipated warm-weather holiday escape.

Visitors arriving with a negative PCR test result and the Pure Safe Travel Certificate can easily transfer to secured Pure Safe Travel accommodations after leaving the airport and then have the option to “holiday in place” at the resort for the entire stay or choose to have a second PCR test on day four. With a confirmed negative result, provided within one to two working days by the Ministry of Health, visitors will have the chance to explore, discover, and truly make the destination, Pure Grenada, Just-For-You, home for the holidays. Here is a sampling of the latest offerings and access updates from the destination.

NEW TOURS

One of Pure Grenada’s newest tour operators, Cayaks, is providing a unique eco-tourism product that allows tourists, as well as locals, to visualize the destination’s unspoiled underwater landscape. As the company’s slogan “See Everything” suggests, Cayaks will allow swimmers and non-swimmers alike, to explore the vastly diverse ocean (with all its creatures, corals, flora, and life), all from within the comfort and safety of a fully transparent, premium kayak. Other new excursionists include Spice Isle Exploration, a tour, and hospitality company that seeks to promote the local resources and tourism attractions in and around Pure Grenada and sister islands Carriacou and Petite Martinique. Visitors will have the opportunity to pedal boat and kayak around the island’s stunning coastline as well as sail off into the sunset with family or friends. Annandale Waterfalls, reopened under new management and visitors will welcome the fresh new and enhanced experience at this classic Grenadian attraction.  In addition, legendary sites including Grand Etang Rainforest Reserve, Fort Frederick Historic Site, Gouyave Nutmeg Processing Station, and Diamond Chocolate Factory are Pure Safe Travel approved attractions to visit.
