TURKS AND CAICOS HOTEL AND TOURISM ASSOCIATION CELEBRATE A BIG MILESTONE IN 2022
President of the Turks & Caicos Hotel and Tourism Association (TCHTA) Sends Positive Vibes for the New Year
Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands, JAN. 2022: On behalf of the Turks & Caicos Hotel and Tourism Association, Trevor Musgrove, President of the TCHTA issues a warm Happy New Year message. “This year is a special one,” he said, “as The Turks & Caicos Hotel and Tourism Association proudly celebrates 30 years as a non-profit organization in these Islands. This is a significant milestone in the association’s history, and we are excited to celebrate it with all of you. We invite you to join us on a journey through time, as we highlight the progression of the association, remembering and celebrating our history and achievements as an organization, and honoring those who have been an integral part of the development and growth of the TCHTA.”
“Through monthly radio shows, videos, local, social, and interactive media, we will look back at the advent of the organization and the correlation of our growth alongside that of the country, the industry, and the building of ‘brand TCI’.This is not merely a walk down memory lane, but a jubilant celebration of our association, its members, and the support we have received from the community. As such, we encourage you to follow our social media platforms and engage in the exciting community initiatives, giveaways, and events we have planned. We will commemorate this anniversary throughout this entire year, with a special event to benchmark the association’s birthday planned for May 2022. The country’s tourism product has seen remarkable resilience since the advent of the pandemic and is flourishing beyond our expectations. For this, we are truly blessed and grateful. Without a doubt, this is all due to the hard-working stars of our tourism sector – those front and back of house workers who show up day and night, working long hours with bright smiles and an unshakable commitment to service, giving their best to those who come to our shores.”

“I would like to take a moment to extend congratulations on behalf of the TCHTA to our Ministry of Health, our Ministry of Tourism, the Turks & Caicos Tourist Board, the Turks & Caicos Islands Airports Authority, and all industry partners who have worked diligently to ensure that the safety and health of visitors and residents is always a top priority in these islands. Because of the collaborative work of these groups, we can boast that we are a safe destination that is seeing success in numbers that exceed those of pre-pandemic years, and for this, we can all be proud. Brand TCI remains victorious on the world’s stage as an award-winning destination, and guests are delighted to visit a country that has shown its commitment to safety with an 80% vaccinated population and consistently low Covid cases. We are grateful to our international travel partners who continue to share our good news, and we look forward to even greater success in 2022.”
“With a spirit of gratitude and pride, I stand on the shoulders of Presidents past who took the association from its humble beginnings to this strong and steadfast organization that has always put the industry and the livelihood of the people that depend on its success and sustainability at the forefront. I am pleased to wish you all a happy new year and to thank our members and the Turks and Caicos community for their support of the association’s efforts and community programs over these past years. Celebrate with us, as we resolve to serve our country and our number one industry for the next 30 years and beyond.”
“A happy new year to you all, and a “happy 30″ to the TCHTA.”
